How to test LSD?

To test LSD always use more than 1 test, because there are more substances than colors. Tests presumptively indicate PRESENCE, but not PURITY or QUANTITY. A positive or negative test result does not mean, that the substance is safe. No substance is 100% safe.

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the smallest sample you can easily see onto a clean surface (e.g. bottom of a mug)
BLOTTER – You can cut a corner –  blotters are not made with a dropper, the substance is spread evenly
LIQUID – Pour a drop on unbleached paper and dry before testing
OTHER – If testing a sugar cube or microdots the test might not be easy to interpret
  2. In good light pour 1 drop of Ehrlich or Hofmann of LSD Test Kit
OTHER REAGENTS usually charcoal blotter paper before actually reacting (EROWID)
SUBSTANCE COLOR might slightly distort results
A BIGGER SAMPLE might react stronger than smaller
  3. If testing LSD the exact color of the reaction is not important – the test is of a yes/no type
SPEED of the reactions does not indicate much
    FLYERS are available at https://shop.sin.org.pl/instructions/?lang=en
APPS available at TestDrugs.info for web browsers and Android devices can help interpret results
RECOMMENDED – record reaction to compare later

Pour baking soda over a finished reaction (to use the Neutralizer bottle first squeeze it and shake for 20 seconds) to neutralize used reagents. Your pipes (and environment) will thank you!

A test did (not) react as indicated? Watch out!
25I-NBOMe (responsible for many deaths) and other new synthetic psychedelics do not react with Ehrlich and Hofmann reagents, contrary to LSD and derivatives not known for overdoses or significant toxicity.

If you want to detect an admixture try a TLC Kit or laboratory analysis. Since fentanyls have been seen on blotters if you have the slightest doubt, test for fentanyls presence using Fentanyls SIN Test

Who can use less? Myth: Test requires a whole LSD piece

HARM REDUCTION

LSD can be especially unpredictable in combinations, even with other already known substances. If you intend to use it, start at no more than 1/3 of a dose and avoid mixing.
